Bringing your Scout Troop
Come for the Weekend
Scout Troops and Venturer Companies that would like to spend the weekend in Niagara-on-the-Lake are invited to register with the Scout Brigade of Fort George. The Scout Brigade provides camping near Fort George, admission to the fort, all your food, and a War of 1812-themed program. For more information or to register, visit the Scout Brigade of Fort George web site or contact the Scout Brigade of Fort George Camp Chief. The registration deadline for the Scout Brigade is August 5, 2005.
Come for the Day
You are welcome to bring your section to Niagara-on-the-Lake for the day on Saturday, September 17, 2005. You can visit the unveiling ceremony at 11:00 and see the various special displays. You will be responsible for purchasing your own admission to Fort George National Historic Site, where the ceremony will be held. There is no need to register with us to do this.
Camp Nearby
If you want to make your visit part of your own weekend camp, consider camping at Camp DayHonDayLahQuah near Port Colborne or Camp Wetaskawin near St. Catharines.
